Position:
Remedial Teacher (Secondary) for English and Mathematics
Location:
Atelier Sa Nou Vize
Responsibilities:
-Conducting assessments to identify students' individual learning needs and areas for improvement.
-Designing and implementing remedial programs tailored to students' specific learning challenges.
-Providing one-on-one or small group instruction to address academic gaps and enhance understanding of core subjects.
-Monitoring students' progress and adjusting teaching strategies accordingly.
-Collaborating with classroom teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' holistic development. -Maintaining accurate records of student assessments, progress, and interventions.
Requirements:
-Bachelor (PGCE will be an advantage)
-Proven experience working with students with diverse learning needs, preferably in a remedial or special education setting.
-Strong understanding of various learning disabilities, behavioral disorders, and other challenges affecting students' academic performance.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.
-Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students overcome obstacles and achieve success.
