The YQA is seeking a full-time Social Worker (trans empowerment) starting June 2024.
Candidates should have a strong interest in LGBTQIA issues, gender, human rights, and HIV/AIDS.
They should possess good communication and interpersonal skills, be computer literate, and have a network working with trans and gender-diverse communities.
The incumbent will be responsible for coordinating safe spaces, implementing trans-empowerment activities, providing counselling, creating digital content, and cooperating with multidisciplinary teams.
The salary offered is MUR 20,000 per month with transport and phone allowances.
