The Young Queer Alliance is looking for a Community Empowerment Officer to work full-time starting February 2024.
Candidates should have a diploma in Social Work, Counselling, Psychology, Sociology, Health Care or equivalent.
Fluency in English and French, good communication skills and a strong interest in LGBTQIA issues, human rights, HIV and AIDS and social justice are required.
The selected candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, managing and implementing support packages for LGBTQIA beneficiaries, conducting assessments, monitoring progress, providing counselling and maintaining records.
The salary for this position is MUR 20,000 per month, plus transport and phone allowance.
