Since 2022, Dibout Ensam has been operating a daycare service at Mont Carmel Parish in Chemin Grenier—a welcoming walk-in space for anyone seeking support with addiction.  The service provides active listening, guidance, and a safe, non-judgmental environment where individuals motivated to overcome addiction can spend the day, share their experiences, and regain confidence.  Two trained volunteers are always present to offer support and facilitate access to rehabilitation centres when needed. In addition, Dibout Ensam conducts drug prevention sessions within the community to raise awareness and promote healthier choices.

Looking ahead, the team will launch a youth-focused drug prevention program based on a peer-to-peer approach, empowering young people to make informed choices.

To date, around 50 volunteers generously dedicate their time, expertise, and attention to support those affected by addiction. Services include home visits upon request, counselling, support groups, and referrals to rehabilitation centres.

Dibout Ensam’s long-term vision is to establish a residential rehabilitation centre in the south, and the organization is currently seeking donations to make this a reality.  So far, over 60 people have benefited from the support provided.
