In 2019, while balancing a full-time job and higher studies, Jenny Botte founded A.S.K. You with a simple yet powerful vision: to empower children and families to build brighter futures.
Based in Richelieu, A.S.K. You, which stands for Attitude, Skills and Knowledge, focuses on education as a pathway out of poverty. The NGO runs an after-school remedial programme for around 40 primary school children three times a week, helping them strengthen their academic performance, confidence and motivation.
Beyond the classroom, A.S.K. You organises educational outings and holiday activities for more than 75 children each year, encouraging learning through discovery and experience.
The organisation also supported vulnerable families through food assistance initiatives and provided dedicated support groups for women. Driven by a strong commitment to community wellbeing, A.S.K. You continues to seek partnerships to expand its programmes and create lasting, positive change.
