Call for Expression of Interest- REF-MTS009

In the context of the Marine Technical School Project, funded by HSBC International, ENL Foundation intends to build a Technical Workshop on the area of 82.5 m2 in the Lakaz Sosial Harmonie, Lajettee Road, Grande Riviere Noire, including enlargement of the existing gate and a mess room complying with health and safety regulations.

Expression of Interest

ENL Foundation invites Expressions of Interest from Individual construction contractors/company to be considered as service providers.

Selected individual/company are expected to have:

1. Good project management skills and ensure that the project will start and end on the time allocated.
2. a professional and well-planned schedule to deliver the work on time
3. a sustainable approach ( work ethics, no materials wastage, etc)
4. Good risk management skills if there are issues arising.
5. A penalty will be imposed in case of not complying with the deadline

Eligibility Criteria
1. Contractors should have a proper Business Registration Number
2. Contractors should not be associated, or have been associated in the past, directly or indirectly, with a firm or any of its affiliates that have been engaged by the ENL Foundation to provide consulting services for the preparation of the design, and specifications.
3. Contractors are not eligible if their participation in procurement activities in the Republic of Mauritius is prohibited under the laws of Mauritius.

Submission of Expression of Interest

• Late submissions will not be considered
• The outcome of the selection is expected to be communicated to applicants within one month of the closing date
• The selected candidates will receive the plan of the project along with the Term of Reference to send a proper quotation.

The Deadline for the submission of Expressions of Interest is Monday 27 June 2022.
