QUALIFICATIONS

A. A National Certificate Level 3 in Special Education Needs (for Sen Carer)
or
B. Foundation Certificate for Carers in Special Education Needs form the Mauritius Institute of Education (MIE);
or
C. alternative recognized qualifications at least Level 3 on the National Qualifications Framework relevant to Special Education Needs and acceptance to the Authority

EXPERIENCE

A minimum of 2 years of working experience

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

• Punctuality
• Reliable
• Ensuring the adults eat and drink on time
• Empathy toward our adults
• Good approach and patience towards children/adults with disabilities
• Be a good communicator
• PRACTICAL- Helping adults with personal care activities such as using the toilet
• Good Observant
• Clean certificate or character

Salary will ne negotiable and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
