TIPA NGO is looking for a full time Fundraising and Communication officer to:
1. Carry out fundraising activities in order to raise funds for the NGO
2. Ensure internal and external communication
3. Ensure efficient collaboration with financial partners

Competencies and Critical Success Factors:
- Understands TIPA’s mission, vision and values
- Displays cultural, gender identity, sexual orientation, health, religion, race, nationality and age sensitivity and adaptability

Functional Competencies:
- Fundraising skills: Commitment to the NGO’s cause, Project writing, Ability to build and maintain relationships, Creativity, imagination and an entrepreneurial attitude towards fundraising
- Communication Skills: Effective communicator with external and internal audiences, including identifying audiences, writing skills, using the media, presentational skills, and persuasiveness, Awareness of different media agendas, Ability to develop systems for structuring, codifying and providing access to information and knowledge
- Leadership and Self-Management: Ability to foresee needs of the project, suggest ways to enhance implementation and respond in a proactive manner, Excellent organizational and time management skills, Ability to work as a team player as well as independently with minimum supervision, Positive & constructive attitude, Openness to change and ability to manage complexity

Recruitment Qualifications:
- Degree in Marketing, Business, Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, Human Studies or any other relevant field
- 5 years of relevant working experience, including: Fundraising and communication for NGOs, Networking with institutions,Knowledge of Arts & Culture

Driving licence;
Fluent in English, French and Creole (oral and written);
Excellent IT skills

Salary (including transport): Rs30,000
